Privacy Policy — ClauseCheck: Contract Help

Last updated: 2 August 2026

Your document photograph stays on your iPhone

ClauseCheck reads your contract using Apple's on-device text recognition. The image of your document is never uploaded and is not stored on any server.

What is sent for analysis

Only the text extracted from your document is sent to the ClauseCheck backend, and only after you give explicit consent that names the processor and the policy version in force. If the processor or that version changes, your consent is revoked automatically and you are asked again before anything is sent. The backend returns the summary, score and clause flags; it does not receive your photographs.

What stays on-device

Saved documents in your vault, detected key dates, confirmed reminders and app settings are stored on your iPhone. Reminders are local notifications scheduled by the app.

Purchases

If you buy ClauseCheck Pro, Apple processes the StoreKit subscription and shares only the purchase state needed to unlock paid features. We never receive your card details.

What we do not collect

ClauseCheck does not use advertising SDKs, third-party analytics SDKs, contact upload, microphone access, background location or cross-app tracking.

Delete data

Delete documents from the vault inside the app, or delete the app from your iPhone to remove local records. Email support@keenshift.ai for help.

Not legal advice

ClauseCheck provides informational analysis only. It is not legal advice and is not a substitute for a licensed attorney.
